Busy, busy, chu chu chu

I’m posting now in case I don’t get a chance later. I have a busy day today and haven’t done any writing yet. I will though.

I spent six HOURS running errands today. T_T My poor feets. But it’s all just fine; along with all the boring errands, I got to go to the craft store. I have a new book, for starts: Stray Sock Sewing. It only has a few patterns in it, but it has lots of photographs to get ideas for more projects. It’s really cute. And I have some socks and some knit gloves to make into little critters. I’m on this big doll and plushy kick right now. I also have supplies to make some little soot sprites. And I got a whole bunch of fun remnant fabrics to make more critters out of. I have this one shaggy cream fabric that is so soft and nice. Ah! I love plush things.

I am also going out to the theater tonight. Live theater, that is, not the cinema. We have tickets to Guys and Dolls. I have not seen it since I was very young, so it will be fun to actually understand it this time. But I’m already sleepy. How will I stay awake?

About Joyce

Joyce Sully lives in Southern California. She graduated from UC Irvine. She likes to knit and cook and play video games. But mostly she writes. Joyce writes short stories and novels, songs and poems, scripts and instructions to feed the cat if she stays out late. She has been spotted as far afield as Seattle, but travel makes her nervous. She believes in magic and dragons and ghosts, but is not convinced her next-door neighbors are real.
